The group has wide membership and continues to carry out important work bringing extensive knowledge and experience together to improve cabin safety.

The Gulf Ground Safety Group (GGSG) is a sub-group of the GFSA that focuses on the safety of ground operations at airports. The group membership is open to a wide variety of stakeholders, including airlines, ground service providers, FBOs and more.
Flight Data Forum
The Flight Data Forum (FDF) is a sub-group of the GFSA that was formed to focus on flight data collaboration. The members are mostly made up of aircraft operators that are willing to share sanitized flight data. The data can be combined to help find overall trends and identify any safety issues that may be developing. A larger data set is critical to catching these trends early and create a predictive model of safety management.
Vertical Aviation Safety Team
The Vertical Aviation Safety Team (VAST) is a sub-group that focuses on the unique nature helicopter aviation and the emerging vertical aviation industry. The group membership includes helicopters operators and service providers from throughout the region.
