Join the Gulf Flight Safety Association

GFSA membership is open to all aviation related organization in the gulf region who want to be part of a safety-focused group. There are many benefits of membership, however the most important is the sole focus of continuous improvement of safety through information and experience sharing.

Aviation is a complex and fast-moving environment. There is no way that one organization can learn and improve simply based on their own experiences. The GFSA provides you with a network of safety professionals with which you can collaborate, share experiences, discuss challenges and develop strategies. This is all done in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that is based on a continuous improvement safety culture.

Vision and Objectives

The GFSA’s objectives are to:

  • Engage the international safety bodies, so to contribute to the safety activities in the region.

  • Participate in modifying the regulations within the region and worldwide to effectively serve “safety”.

  • Educate the regional community in aviation safety by arranging activities such as:

    • Safety seminars, conferences

    • Safety related training programs

    • Workshops

    • Forums

    • Share specific safety measures that are proven to be effective for an airline; so it can be utilized by others.

    • Disseminate safety related information to frontline workers by utilizing all available means.

    • Bring together key people in the aviation sector for the purpose of  highlighting safety information in an unrestricted but confidential environment.

    • Share specific experiences for the mutual benefit of all, and learn from each other

    • Present/arrange topics of interest, development and relevance to improve operational safety and intelligence

    • Regularly engage with safety bodies/authorities/ministries and relevant industry, to both learn from, and encourage where appropriate, regulation/operational/manual changes.
